Red Silk Contest Rules
Eligibility
All legal residents of the United States of America, over the age of 18 years and not currently incarcerated are eligible to enter and win. Entrant must have a valid email address and may be required to provide additional information upon request of Red Silk Photos. Any person who has violated the terms of use of this website, found to have unlawfully entered, or not being an eligible entrant, shall be immediately disqualified and barred from future entries. Family members, employees, agents, or representatives of Red Silk Photos or Chris Thomas are ineligible for entry. No purchase necessary to enter.
Winners
Winners are chosen at random from all eligible entries. Winners are responsible for all local, state, and federal tax responsibilities. Red Silk Photos, Chris Thomas, his heirs, assigns, agents, or relatives are not liable for any fees, expenses, costs, or losses associated with the use or receiving of the prize.
Entry
To enter, an eligible person must provide an valid email address and name. Additional entries may be obtained via social media outlets. Entrants are responsible for following all applicable terms of service on social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Instagram). Entry requirements for social media will be specified on the Contest page, any entry which does not specifically follow the aforementioned requirements will not be counted as an entry. No purchase necessary.
Liability
Red Silk Photos, Chris Thomas, his heirs, representatives, agents, assigns, employees, relatives shall not be responsible for any damage, loss, harm, enmity, or liability incurred as a result of entering a contest. All suppliers, distributors, affiliates, advertisers, and prize suppliers, their representatives, agents, officers, and employees shall be held harmless and released from any claim or action arising from participation in the contest, the receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, participation in the contest shall give Chris Thomas, Red Silk Photos, and its representatives consent to use the winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or city of residence in any media it deems fit without compensation to the winner.
Disputes
Except where prohibited by law, entrant agrees that all disputes shall be handled in the Courts of the State of California and the laws governing the State of California. Parties involved in the dispute must pay their own legal fees and neither party shall be entitled to compensation for legal fees. Any monies paid shall not exceed double the value of the largest prize for the given contest.
Privacy
Chris Thomas, Red Silk Photos, it or his agents, assigns, representatives, and heirs shall observe reasonable diligence to protect the privacy of all entries where possible. Chris Thomas has the right to grant access to personal information provided by an entrant for an indefinite and undetermined amount of time as Chris Thomas sees fit. Such use may include but is not limited to sale or access of all personal data collected. Chris Thomas and Red Silk Photos shall be held harmless and not liable for any information obtained by illegal means if Chris Thomas, Red Silk Photos, the agents, heirs, or representatives of them take reasonable precautions to protect such information. Any individual can request at any time to view the data collected about themselves or a client whom they may legally represent.
General Regulations
Chris Thomas reserves the right to change the rules governing the execution, management, duration, requirements or prizes of any contest, giveaway, or sweepstakes conducted by Chris Thomas, Red Silk Photos or representatives, agents, and assigns thereof. Entry does not guarantee winning a prize. Chances of winning are dependent on the number prizes divided by the total number of eligible entries. One prize per household per 30 days.
Severablity
If any sentence, clause, or word contained in this document is found to be unlawful, invalid, or otherwise compromising to the spirit and intent of this document, it shall not invalidate, nullify, or negate the remainder of the agreement. Validity and intent shall be determined by the judge, arbiter, or other ruling authority agreed upon by all parties involved and recognized by the State of California as a legal and lawful individual acting in their duty to execute such rulings.
