Silhouettes are a staple in boudoir photography. The play between light and dark draws the eye right to the part of the image meant to be the subject. I personally believe most silhouettes look best when they are black and white. This particular silhouette is of a young topless woman wearing black gloves and a top hat. Creating a good silhouette is challenging. Keeping detail in the white areas of the subject while ensuring the background goes completely white takes great skill. A good boudoir silhouette accentuates the curves and shapes of the female figure while leaving the viewer wanting more.
