Downtown Bakersfield Boudoir Photo

Ms. D- is always such a joy to work with. This was one of the final shots in a long day of shooting. we started our photo trip at Remington Hot Springs headed towards Lake Isabella. After a full day of capturing unique photos, we decided to try and create just a couple more. For this shot, I slowed the exposure down and filled in her figure with a flash. I wanted the neon light of Guthrie’s to create a unique background. This is a tamer boudoir style image, but still fits in the category. Some people might class this more as a fashion portrait, but as part of the large set of images I captured earlier in the day, it fits better as a boudoir photo.
